![]() Tried to delete failed local snapshots (only 1 found and no performance impact), tried scanning for malwares, First Aid on disk utility. Ran a lot of tests, disk related checks (Wear level is low for its age: 91%m smart utility, disk drill, DriveDx), battery seems ok (less than 350 cycles). The response to track pad clicks and the keyboard actions seems to be a lot slower. I tried this fix, but it only made things a little better. It really looks like an I/O related problem, but the WindowServer seems like a suspect too. ![]() The interesting thing is that the main symptom is that the computer has low cpu usage (except for the WindowServer, that is using more CPU time than the kernel), but the load average is high, usually above 8, and it even reached 40! When it is really low, it is around 2. I've updated it to high sierra, but from 2-3 weeks ago, it became slow. ![]() Ok, so this is the first time I feel stupid about a Mac problem. ![]()
